ad-hive.com is a marketing and lead-generation website. We use this Site to share information about our services, capture inquiries from prospective clients, and improve our marketing through analytics. We do not sell products directly through the Site, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

However, under the CPRA’s broad definition, our use of advertising cookies and pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) to deliver cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered “sharing” of personal information. You have the right to opt out of this sharing — see Section 7.4.

7.3 Your Rights

Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to:

Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share about you.
Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Delete personal information we have collected from you.
Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not currently use sensitive PI for purposes that trigger this right).
Non-discrimination — we will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level or quality of service because you exercised your rights.

7.4 Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To opt out of the “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, you may: (1) use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our Site, (2) adjust your cookie preferences through our cookie banner, or (3) email us at privacy@ad-hive.com.

7.5 Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request from California residents. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for the browser and device from which the signal originates.

7.6 How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a request to know, delete, correct, or opt out, please email us at privacy@ad-hive.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request” and describe your request in reasonable detail. We will verify your identity using information we already maintain about you (for example, by matching your email to records in our system). We will respond within the timeframes required by law (generally 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension).

7.7 Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written permission signed by you, and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods vary based on the type of information and the purpose:

Inquiry and contact form submissions: retained for as long as needed to respond and follow up, typically up to 24 months.
Newsletter and marketing email lists: retained until you unsubscribe, after which we may keep minimal records to honor your opt-out.
Analytics and advertising data: typically retained for up to 14 months in Google Analytics and according to each advertising partner’s retention practices.

9. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by us. You are responsible for keeping any credentials you create with us confidential.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of California residents under 16 without the affirmative consent required by law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because no industry standard for responding to DNT signals has been established, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. We do, however, honor the Global Privacy Control signal as described in Section 7.5.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this Policy. Material changes will be announced through the Site or by email where appropriate. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
